So, last 12th innings approaching, eh?
Nov. 30th, 2004 09:36 amSo the end of the year is rolling steadily towards us, like a well oiled toy duck on small squeaky wheels.
And I look back at it all and think, "Bloody hell, what did I do this year anyway?" and for the first time in ages I can think of LOTS. I'm pretty much looking forward to doing a post here (deary me, that's so sad) of all the things I've managed to pack into this year. True, there are a couple of things I didn't get around to but this means that I'll have something to start me off looking forward to for next year.
A friend once, quite wisely, said "I like to keep half my goals unachieveable.".
Next year I will hurl myself off a hillside strapped dangerously underneath a mishmash of metal frame and fragile canvas and I think the don't worry about the future, live and do as much as you can attitude is going to continue.
Well, at least until tomorrow...
:)
