robinbloke: (Clik-a-clak typing)
Good calling, although quiet; one of these days I'll get around to getting a taxi over again so I can actually drink more than the single alcoholic beverage I allow myself.
Note to self, purple reef is totally foul. Bah.
Some good start and end music, [livejournal.com profile] scy11a played a set that I would have been pretty happy to play, muhahaha, Gary Numan, Human League... never did get to hear my Bowie request played (which was just 'Bowie' as any Bowie is good) and missed the Cure song of the evening as I came in.
Still, played catch up with people and watched the butterflies. Also got several nice compliments about my spiffy jacket, which I love to pieces. Mmmmm jacket. And pondering.
Need... more... flouncy... clothing.

Pondering? What question?
What do I want?
Really not sure anymore...

After I graduated, I called him long distance and asked, "Now what?" He said, "Get a job." When I turned twenty-five, I called him and asked, "Now what?" He said, "I don't know. Get married."

Ah, Fight Club quotes, the safety net for my brain, sort of.

My LiveJournal Sitcom
Visiting robinbloke (HBO, 4:30): robinbloke (Colin Farrell) ruins eviltwinemma (Gates McFadden)'s favourite wedding photo while house-sitting. Nearby, evil_john (Chevy Chase) hypnotizes the_lady_lily (Bernadette Peters) but it doesn't work. Soon afterwards, maakeff (Meryl Streep) draws a picture on tacohell (Christian Bale)'s forehead. Upstairs, silja (Viggo Mortensen) borrows ksirafai (Michael Baldwin)'s car to drive to the beach. Later that day, meretricious (Breckin Meyer) bakes 500 cookies for a bake sale, but razornet (Robert Blake) eats them all. Craziness ensues.
