The indefinate article
Jan. 27th, 2003 09:54 amA varied weekend of different experiences...
Friday night a small horde of us descended on the opening evening of Hard Drive an industrial club in London, after driving down there and getting minorly diverted by following a car that was disguising itself as the one I was meant to be following, parking was pretty easy however and I'm sure that it took less time to drive back than get there the next day, many thanks to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hampsterboy for his inspired navigation! The club was pretty good, if quiet; I prefer a large horde of people dancing to a small group so I can hide myself in amoungst the masses and forget about everything whilst I bounce around with some friends. But they had vodka so a few of them sorted me out and I bounced the evening and morning away until we crawled back at around 4.30, blarg. Slept surprisingly well before escaping home.
Rest of the weekend was a combination of housework tedium and helping friends do stuff in the addiction that is Everquest always nice to help others out, etc etc. I did finally successfully test that my new boiler can entirely fill a bath with lovely hot water however, ahhh.
Hmmm.
Monday again and the first month of 2k3 is already nearly gone... at this rate it'll be 2k10 before you can blink and the world will be railroading down a hill faster than you can blink.
More random ramblings later I suspect. After I ponder for a few minutes to assign personas to fruit.
