And I am a material boy.
Oct. 17th, 2002 10:00 amI currently have over half a dozen things in a delivery queue for me from online mail-order. And thats just one company.
The lure on online commercialism is just too strong and it's just too easy to spend, especially when you're a self confessed shopaholic like myself, is it the choosing, the buying, the spending, the stuff arriving? Probably not the latter since I usually forget whats being delivered - which is still nice since every package becomes like a surprise present.
Is it the choosing - well no, since half the part of it all is the entirely spontenatity, just randomly deciding, at some point or other, that I need something and then buying it, there and then, so it's not even holding the item in question.
So maybe it's just spending the money itself or rather having the ability to spend a bit of cash semi-randomly on stuff I'd like to have to semi-randomly have. Cash good.
Cha-ching.
