I've just cracked a software build problem that's been hassling me for the last couple of weeks, and damn it feels good :) Basically (you can switch off here and turn to another channel if you want) our printer is a 3 board set combination, each board has it's own program file and configuration BLD file that tells the boot loader where to put the code in the loadblock for that board; after much muddling around I'd managed to get it all working (I thought) but I'd forgotten to update the memory programming rules for the second board in my build file; since this is a kind of hybrid system I'm working for here and it uses several different sources for the code, several different BLD files for these from different versions - it wasn't as obvious as it sounds. But, with the BLD swapped over, memory locations remapped and files addressed correctly for the second board and off to the test room... presto! Works first time!
Now for the other 3 variants!
