Weekend of doom (tm)
Jun. 24th, 2002 09:27 amWhoa, what a fine weekend; all teetered at the edge the few weeks before as organisational chaos stuck like a thunderbolt from on high and had poor
hyperabi running around like a headless chicken organising it all, but she managed to sort it out - mucho kudos! The weekend was great with the mighty chef skills of
cbvampst the evil plot of
dreamingchristi and the general chaos from the players (
andrewdavies
calseris
clawboy42
crocodilewings
jasonooc
kizzie
nocturnia
zenmeisterin) some of whom I hadn't seen in ages and was great to see again! Not to mention the fine ST'manship of
borusa and
raggedhalo - special mention to the latter for the fine RP'ing of an escaped jibbering psychopath! There were more people there, apologies if I missed anyone!
Summary of the weekend? Shopped until I dropped, shopped more, bought "more food than god", assisted with various things, jibbered at people, had my characters mind go ping as he had a civil war in his own head as his multiple personalities went to war (2 KIA), sat in a shrub for an hour waiting for 'Charlie' to come out, drove various ST's various stages of mad/confused, won Chef of Albion with my amazing Strawberry Milkshake, laughed at the chicken of Albion, got varing degrees of drunk and had a pretty cool drive back with
jasonooc. All in all a fine weekend.
Now I need to sleep, luckily for the rest of the week I'm on a software course - that should help!

Jun. 24th, 2002 04:47 pmPeace in the soul and static weaving in your hair.
You open your eyes wide for the first time in time since you can't remember.
Something you were waiting for had already happened.
Realisation is all that was missing.
The slope has ended and you no longer need to freewheel, you can pedal where you want.
But just put your foot down and wait at the next lights.
Because right now theres roads to travel, but waiting is just as good.
It's all up to you, in the end, the choices you make, the time you spend.
Blame the world and blame yourself.
In the end, it's the choices you make and the compant you keep.
Tech support excuse of the day: Solar flares did it.
