Lyrics time!
Nov. 7th, 2001 09:15 amI can't help my feelings, I'll go out of my mind
These players come to get me 'cause they'd like my behind
I can't love my business if I can't get a trick
Down on Santa Monica where tricks are for kids
Oh, come on and kick me
Oh, come on and kick me
Come on and kick me
You've got your problems
I've got my eye swipe
You've got your big G's
I've got my hash pipe
I can't help my boogies they get out of control
I know that you don't care but I want you to know
The knee-stocking flavor is a favorite treat
Of men that don't bother with the taste of a teat
Oh, come on and kick me
Oh, come on and kick me
Come on and kick me
You've got your problems
I've got my eye swipe
You've got your big G's
I've got my hash pipe
I've got my hash pipe
Oh, come on and kick me
Oh, come on and kick me
Come on and kick me
You've got your problems
I've got my eye swipe
You've got your big G's
I've got my hash pipe
I've got my hash pipe
I've got my hash pipe
I've got my hash pipe
Coding all done, a >64k implementation of GetPrivateProfileString is done! Fascinating I'm sure... well I had fun writing it anyway - or strictly speaking writing it twice, once so it worked and the second time writing it so it went at a reasonable speed.
Just looking at my code these days and I seem to be putting in even more and more obscure verbose comments, not that this is entirely a bad thing, as long as they're helpful.
The other thing was that I sort of used my first set of code as a Psuedocode underline for my second run which worked rather well... sort of write a clearly structured but pooh and slow implementation of a function and then trim out all the time wasting sections of the code.
I'm semi-tempted to speed it up now even more, one bit of it particularly could be spiffed up but MFC is irking me by not letting me do what I want with it... hmmm, maybe after lunch.
Well, I say lunch, it's time to go to the gym.
Hmmm, kept typing 'gum' there, maybe wine gums... mmmmm sugar
Not that I've had any yet
No really
Still on a sugar rush from last night! One advantage of a short nights sleep.
I dunno, I suppose I must be chemically, psycologically and physically addicted to sugar, my dependance on the stuff is way off normal, like coffee or a crack addict, ask anyone I know what I'm like without sugar - it's not pretty.
But then, at least it's not crack.
Anyhow, enough random wibbling - to the Robinmobile - away!

"Well, I have been to a rave. I probably know a bunch of ravers, but they may think of me as an outsider. That's okay, at least I am not a complete freak."
