Fridayfriday! At last.
Going to have fun tonight if it kills me.
Have reef, vodka, chocolate and sugar, have a wanton disregard for my personal health in consuming all of the above until I am out of my tiny little mind.
Plus I have a pub and a madcap party with funky friends to go to.
Roll on this evening!

This world

I just saw two butterlies flying around each other.
I just saw a bird singing in a tree.
I just saw a tree blowing in the wind.

Is intelligence a curse? Have we evolved to be more unhappy? Have actually achieved anything for the human race at all? Is there less death and suffering? Are there more wars and weapons of desruction? Have we come any closer to being happier as a race? Or have we just changed the tools and methods and things that surround us for ones of our own manufacture that we can no longer entirely comprehend whilst governments, religion and money now rule our lives instead of the simple concerns of the day to day.
Have we become more twisted? Hurtful? Spiteful?
Are we any longer the same creatures we once were?
Have we lost all the feelings and freedom of simple ignorance that instinct gave us to the more complex concerns, worries, trauma and depression of intelligence?
Is the world overpopulated? Too greedy? Too unhappy? On a road to self destruction? Driven by hate fueled by the those same three things that dominate our lives?
Does anyone not worry about any of them?
Are we now not just slaves to these concepts, these ideas, these creations that we have made ourselves and spread across the world like a plague of thought that eats into every moment of our lives?
Is there any escape?
Is there any benefits to intelligence at all? Really? Have we grown or done or touched anything beyond a cancer of pollution, mistrust, war, destruction, hate and greed over this planet?
Are we really not just a cancer for this world?
Or is there some kind of hope for us?
