BUHAHAHAHAHA!

Ahem.
Well, after drawing up a list of things to fix around in my house I finally got off my arse and did one of them, especially helped by a friend at work leaving for Canada and selling me his old amp and speakers for a tenner.
My bedroom is now wired into my MP3 machine (nearly 10,000 tracks now) and I can play on either or both set of speakers. I also have a wider knowledge of what lies under the floorboards after an abortive attempt to run the wires under them, sanity hit shortly afterwards (away with you I say!) and I hid the cables under the carpet instead.
Next stage is to wire the music to the speakers downstairs as well so the whole house can play the same music at the same time.

Then you only need a remote so you can choose the tracks. ;o)

Install a Creative Audigy-2 Platinum with drivebay and infra-red remote.
Buy an RF to IR convertor system from www.keene.co.uk.
Sorted!
