I've just splashed out and bought myself a new digi camera on the advice from a learned friend, and rather spiffy it looks too; should be here tommorrow!

Looks spiffy, if a bit clunky, looks almost as big as a SLR.
But what a price! Only 30 quid more than mine cost 3 years ago. Definitely a bargain.

Actually apparently it's not that big at all :)
4 day delay on delivery atm due to stocks tho' :(

Cool. And optical zoom is very nice. Digital zoom is usually crap and only inflates the pixels.

I've been toying with buying a new one for a while but I think I'll wait til after Xmas.
