NTL just checked my modem line and gave me a new modem - when I wasn't actually renting one from the in the first place - justice for all those horrible cuts in service!
And it's a nifty black colour!

Well it's not all good, as I've just noted in installing my new modem they've nuked my MAC address = No net access whatsoever.
Bah.
