I've drifted through mountains, I've touched the stars.
Sounds have been made solid, light has held me fast.
The sun has been so many colours, the moon a lidless eye.
Life is always complicated and I think I know why.
All the time I keep thinking, and all I've been through.
Most of the confusion, it all comes down to you.
I'm not saying I blame you, I'm not saying it's true,
but I'm never really sure what I'm getting myself into.
So as the clock takes another step, the world another turn
I'll open my eyes just one more time, to see the dawn again.
