Finally treated myself to a new PC, rather than just a router one; athlon 1800, seems quite squiffy so far.

I can burn you a 98R2 disc if you want.

That'd be great; I don't know how it works as regards 95 word/powerpoint/excel, though - will it be okay?

98 is basically 95 with better networking support, some new bugs, a few of the old ones gone and IE integrated into it

Well, we only use it as a standard Word Processor, budget/Character generator, and for the occasional presentation, so should be okay.

It should be fine, I've not found anything except stuff that needs direct X 8.1 or above that won't work on 95 rather than 98.
